Materials & care
Mulberry silk outer and lining over a moulded insert. Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, press the water out rather than wringing, and air dry away from direct sun. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no iron.
Fit & sizing
One size. Hook-and-loop closures at both ends of the band let you set it to your own head once and leave it. The cups are moulded, so the mask stands slightly away from your face — that is what makes it possible to blink under it, and it is also why it sits a little higher than a flat mask when you lie on your side.
Shipping & returns
Free shipping from $69.90 USD, dispatched in 1–3 business days with tracking. We take care of customs and any import fees for you. 30-day returns on unused items. For hygiene reasons a mask that has been worn cannot be returned unless there is a quality fault — then we refund you in full.

The problem with flat masks
Most masks press on the thing they are protecting
A flat mask has to sit on your face to block light, which means it sits on your eyelids. Open your eyes under one and you are pushing against fabric. Wear mascara or lash extensions and you wake up with them flattened on one side.
The pressure is not just a comfort problem. It is the reason people take a mask off at 3am and then lie awake in a room that is too bright.
Blocking light shouldn't cost you the space to blink.
Put it on
Then open your eyes
Your lashes never touch the fabric.
Nothing presses on your lids.
You can open your eyes under it and still see nothing at all.
Dark, with room to blink.

The cups
Two domes, stitched in
Inside the band are two moulded cups with a sewn border, deep enough that your lashes have somewhere to go. The silk arches over your eye instead of lying on it.
Between them, a contoured bridge sits down onto the nose — the place a flat mask leaves a triangle of light coming up at you from below.
Space where your eyes are. Contact everywhere else.
Three things that matter
Why this one and not a flat band
A sleep mask has three jobs: block the light, stay where you put it, and be comfortable enough that you forget it is there. The cups are what change the third one.
-
The cups
Moulded, stitched and deep enough to clear your lashes. You can blink under it, which is the difference between a mask you tolerate and one you forget.
-
The band
A wide wrap that carries on past your temples and closes with hook-and-loop at both ends, so it holds through the night instead of riding up.
-
The silk
Mulberry silk against the thinnest skin on your face. It glides instead of dragging, and it doesn't drink up whatever you put on before bed.
Darkness without the pressure.

Simple care
Hand wash. Air dry.
Cool water, a mild detergent, a gentle squeeze — never a wring. Lay it flat or hang it in the shade and it is dry by morning.
No tumble dryer, no bleach, no iron. Silk lasts a long time when it is treated gently, and this takes about two minutes.
In the box
Everything you need. Nothing you don't.
Room for your lashes. Nothing resting on your lids.
Carries past your temples rather than stopping at your eye sockets.
Smooth against the thinnest skin on your face.
Arrives in its own box — ready to give, not just to ship.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from your other silk mask?
The Driftwell® Silk Sleep Mask is a flat padded band — thin, light, and the one to choose if you sleep on your side and want the lowest profile possible. This one has moulded cups, so nothing touches your eyes or lashes at all. It stands a little further off your face in exchange.
Can I really open my eyes under it?
Yes. That is what the cups are for. Your lashes have room and your lids are not being pressed on, so blinking under it feels like blinking in a dark room.
Is it good for lash extensions?
It is the reason contoured masks exist. The fabric never rests on your lashes, so nothing is being flattened against your lid all night.
Will it stay on if I sleep on my side?
The band wraps past your temples and closes with hook-and-loop at both ends, so it holds. Note that a contoured mask sits higher than a flat one — if the lowest possible profile matters most to you, our flat band mask is the better choice.
Does light get in at the nose?
The bridge between the two cups is contoured to sit down onto the nose, which is where flat masks usually leave a gap.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, press the water out gently and air dry out of direct sun. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no iron.
How fast does it ship?
